X-Treme Test for Fujifilm X-T2 and John Rourke
When Fujifilm X-Photographers John Rourke and Jeff Carter embarked on this project they wanted to take the Fujifilm camera system into different locations to prove they could work in the most difficult conditions. During the 'Spirit of Inverclyde' P1 Panther test runs on Sunday 28 May John Rourke clambered into a dry suit, fitted a buoyancy ring, and went for a swim in the sea off the Scottish coast near Musselburgh. The plan was discussed with the driver of the 'Spirit of Inverclyde' Davie Finlayson who would run parallel 20 feet out of John's position behind the yacht he was attached to. Davie did three passes and the resulting shots are really amazing and very different from the ones you see taken from the shore or the back of a boat.
