Picture of the Day: Swimmer

Image
At Fujifilm X-Treme we endeavour to put the X-Series in some great situations to capture an image that stands out from the rest of the crowd. Today's picture of the day was taken by John Rourke of Adrenal Media on the Fujifilm X-T2 and XF16-55mm f2.8R WR.   Now the X-T2 and the lens might be weather resistant but we thought this might prove to be a step too far. So the camera was placed in an underwater housing to make sure it stayed nice and dry, which is more than John was during this shoot! John's image certainly highlights the versatility of the Fujifilm X Series. @AdrenalMedia  _____________________________________________________________________________ FUJIFILM X-TREME Fujifilm X-Treme is a project run for Fujifilm by official X-Photographers Jeff Carter of  MacLean Photographic  and John Rourke of  Adrenal Media .   Having already proven that Fujifilm cameras can work as well as any other camera system in the world of motorsp...

Picture of the Day: Rally Action

The picture of the day was taken on the Borders Rally in March during Round 1 of the British Rally Championship. The picture was taken on the Fujifilm X-T2 and the XF100-400mm f4.5/5.6R LM OIS WR using an exposure of 1/60s @ f10 ISO200.  The slowish shutter speed has projected a sense of speed into the image as the AF followed it down the course.
